For the first 13 weeks my role was as an employee in training. After 13 weeks I become a software engineer.
We spent 13 weeks in training and skills will be developed during my whole career
So far my program has been very enjoyable. There are always ways to push and challenge myself.
I feel very valued by the company. During the time I've been here there have often been visits by bosses, and senior people within the company.
The program is well structured and organised. There is a plan of what we do week by week.
If I need support I can contact our training provider at any time.
Our employer visits once a week to support us and we have calls about our program often.
The expense system is very fair, and my salary is high for an average apprentice.
Outside of work there are many opportunites to push yourself and meet new people, you just need to be willing.
Yes
Capgemini offers so many opportunities and support for their workers that it's an exceptional company for anyone to choose. As an apprentice I never thought I would be treated the same way that any full time employee, or higher, would be but at Capgemini I am a valued member.
Be focused and ready to work, show yourself off for who you are, and not just your abilities. Capgemini are not just looking for skilled workers, but the individuals themselves.
