My role entails completing engineering tasks which can vary day to day. There is a significant amount of design work as well as undertaking structural inspections.
I have learnt many new skills over the course of the apprenticeship and Mott MacDonald continue to invest in me to foster new development.
I have enjoyed the programme which I am on, however, there is a significant workload which does impact on life outside of the 9-5 which has been difficult at times.
The programme has been well structured
I receive excellent support from my employer and from peers within the organisation in terms of technical support
I have received good support from the training provider, however, the support provided has been varied between university lecturers.
It has provided a base level of understanding, however, a lot of the learnt knowledge is not particularly utilised during day to day activities.
