During my time at BAE I have learnt a wide range of new skills. I have learnt new ways to produce drawing and models within the CAD unit. New skills for manufacturing within fitting such as drilling or riveting. Not only these physical skills but other key skills needs for working at BAE such as team work and leadership with the outward bound week.
During my time at BAE I have enjoyed the programme provided by the company . I have told many people about how good of a company BAE is and the promising pathways they have to offer. Many of the people i spoke to have recently been accepted into the next year of apprentices for the new year.
The programme is very well structed. I feel they give a good amount of time within each of the units provided as well as a well rounded topics to provide information within different areas of the business. Other activities they provide for the course such as the outward bounds trip also helps builds friendships and learn more about the company's behaviours.
Whilst being at BAE I have received the correct amount of support for my needs. I have dyslexia which is struggle with on a day to day basics. BAE have provided me with the correct support such as a reader and extra time during my exams. they also provided me with an updated assessment for my dyslexia.
I receive a lot of support within my courses. The skills coaches that we have are very helpful with good support as they provide time outside of the lesson to help you with any work that is needed to be completed. We also have online help that can guide us on topics if we have been struggling outside of work.
My qualification helps me to preform better in my job role as I'm working towards a role in fitting. With the training within fitting and other units it provides more knowledge to better understand my role within the business and what I may need to do. This improve me as it gives me information to my future job role.
BAE have a wide range of activities that they call 'stretch tasks' these include oppertuiniries to work and help BAE promote there company within schools or other activities such as sports teams and social groups that meet outside of work. ,All these help build freindships within the business and groups.
Yes

Make sure when looking into a job role at BAE Systems you know about the company, use your knowledge and skills to make yourself look better towards the company. Look into the planes and conutires that BAE work with. using your knwoeladge and expanding your skills you will get a role at BAE.
