My communication skills have been vastly improved upon, through working with colleagues within SSE to working with contractors on SSE sites.
I enjoyed the programme, it was a great insight and way to be involved in new experiences, I also met new people that I otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity to interact with.
At the initial phase of the programme it was a little unstructured, however it quick gained footing and sorted itself out into structured learning.
I received vast amounts of support from my employer.
I also received great amounts of support from my training provider.
I believe It will prepare me greatly as it was a strong introduction to the safety culture at SSE, it also introduced me into the work relationship between SSE and Principal Contractors/ Sub Contractors.
There are extra-curricular activities such as, team events to get to know and work with new members, walking week and REC on the road.
