I work with multi agency partners to prepare, respond and recover from emergency events. I also work with colleagues to ensure we deliver the gold standard of customer service
University has provided me with a focus on my personal development and an ability to justify decisions with academic references
The programme is good although I wish I had done it earlier in my career when my day role was not so intense
The timetable this semester was not great. I have to leave home around 6.45am to arrive for the first lecture at 9am and if I stayed until the last lecture which finished at 6pm, I would not get home until 8pm.
SSE have been great at allowing me to take a full day a week out of the office for uni. I never feel pressured into working in between lectures
Queen Margaret University has been impacted by the strikes but the lecturers have went above and beyond to ensure this hasn't impacted our learning experience
The learning is relatable to my broader organisation so whilst not directly impacting my performance, it has been enhancing my overall understanding
Yes - I am involved in several working groups
