  • Installing Virgin Media Internet/ TV/ Telephones in peoples homes and fixing any issues that customers are having with their Virgin Media services.

  • How to install internet services and how it works. How to identify problems and how to fix them.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Enjoying it very much so far, it’s a lot of hard work but feels very rewarding when you complete a job. Virgin Media O2 do a great job at making you feel valued as an employee and it motivates me to do a better job.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • So far everything has been explained well and a lot of support has be constantly offered. It seems this apprenticeship at Virgin is highly valued as so much time is invested in myself from others to teach me how the job should be completed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Constantly reminded that they are there to help and am made to feel confident that I can ask for help when I need it.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have a study day once every 3 weeks that helps to keep myself on track and pinpoint areas I’m doing well in and others that need more focus. Very well organised and productive.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel this helps a lot as the theory helps you to get a base understanding of what the job entails and then partnered with the practical side helps to reinforce that theory and makes it make more sense.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, social night once a quarter and a 5-a-side night once a quarter too.

  • Great company to work for, they make you feel valued and they offer extensive help to make sure you do the job to a high standard.
