Enjoying it very much so far, it’s a lot of hard work but feels very rewarding when you complete a job. Virgin Media O2 do a great job at making you feel valued as an employee and it motivates me to do a better job.
So far everything has been explained well and a lot of support has be constantly offered. It seems this apprenticeship at Virgin is highly valued as so much time is invested in myself from others to teach me how the job should be completed.
Constantly reminded that they are there to help and am made to feel confident that I can ask for help when I need it.
We have a study day once every 3 weeks that helps to keep myself on track and pinpoint areas I’m doing well in and others that need more focus. Very well organised and productive.
I feel this helps a lot as the theory helps you to get a base understanding of what the job entails and then partnered with the practical side helps to reinforce that theory and makes it make more sense.
Yes, social night once a quarter and a 5-a-side night once a quarter too.
