My role consists of monthly processes surrounding period end including Cash claims, MMR, CSR's and also data base work with actuals/commitment and spend.
I have developed my communication skills and also my confidence. I have learnt to speak up and ask questions whenever in doubt.
My programme makes me feel very involved with the work BAE is doing and I am very supported in my role. It is tricky to balance college and work but I get lots of time for studying.
My programme is very structure and is set out in blocks so we learn about a topic and then take the exam on the same topic. The Kaplan Live on line sessions are structured/organised so we cover all the information and questions.
My Employer understands my priorities and work load so I can manage my time effectively and also learn new tasks. My employer also supports from a college side and understands that I need time to study.
I can ask my training provider any questions I have in different ways ie. email, live chat or a call. Having this Point of Contact is supportive.
My qualification and training helps me to perform better in my role through teaching me standard practices and the principles of accounting.
There are a wide range of extra curricular activities I can get involved in. There are plenty of Stretch activities and teams I could join such as hiking or climbing.
