  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role involves working on day to day deliverables required on a variety of projects. Examples of this would be Information Memorandums (sales documents for a business), Financial Models (financial projections for a business) and research, whether that be on a specific company, the wider industry or a geographical location of interest.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've improved my skills within Microsoft office, including excel, powerpoint and other related applications. I've also developed my accounting skills through building financial models and seeing how accounting impacts a financial model in practice. I've also developed my presentation skills through good exposure to clients on the projects I've worked on.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Forvis Mazars to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Overall I think it has a good work life balance and I have met some great people here. There is a good balance of learning, developing, trying new things which means I feel like I am developing and gaining value from the role which will benefit me and the firm in the future.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Forvis Mazars?
  • Think about what kind of role suits your personality, as there are many roles and offices. Not all roles are equally enjoyable for one individual and so I believe the role matters more than the company you are working at, as people can have very different experiences of the same firm, simply due to different offices or departments.
