My job role consists of being interactive throughout most of the day with people inside the company and with also people outside the company, them being our suppliers. I have responsibilities to collect forecasts from our suppliers when goods will be delivered and to feed that information back to my team. There is a special project that i am aware of and i have a weekly meeting about it every week to discuss were about we are at with the project and any improvements that we could make.
I have developed better communication skills as i have to speak to a range of people on a daily basis to discuss forecasts and if i need any help. I have also developed my confidence as it is hard speaking to new people especially about something you are still learning about on the job.
I enjoy the college side of things as that is when i am the most busy and i enjoy learning about new things and doing group activities to improve our knowledge on the supply chain. I enjoy being on my placement when there is enough work for me to keep me busy and i like joining the meetings just to get more knowledge.
I think my programme is structured as to always having our college days planned out and all the dates our assignments are in. We are always aware of the next topic we will be learning about which also helps as if we have a bit of spare time we can do some extra research before the lessons.
I receive support from a few of my managers if i need anything or anyone to talk to. We catch up on a regular basis which helps if i have anything i need to speak about or any of my worries or concerns. I feel like i have a good support system.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider and he always ensures that i have enough support with my assignments and work. My training provider always makes sure i am up to date with all my assignments and always asks if i need any extra help or support. He always replies to my questions clearly and helps me as much as possible.
Learning about the supply chain and many other topics helps me in my role as it gives context as to why i do the things i do in my placement. It makes tasks a lot easier to understand when in my placement as i am aware of the supply chain background which is what my role consists of.
There are many extra curricular activities to get involved in which we call 'stretch assignment's' there are many activities to get involved in which are very social so it involves a lot of interaction with others which is good to build your communication skills. There are activities that involved you to present to an audience which improves your confidence massively and that's why we are encouraged to get involved.

I would recommend BAE to a friend as it is one of the best company's in the world to work for, you are looked after by all employers and employees and you have amazing opportunities to get involved in and there is always room for growth. For example, you can keep on improving your skills to get a higher grade and climb the ladder.
i would promote the company as much as possible as from my experience it is a really good company to work for and there are many benefits that come from doing the apprenticeship.
