  • Currently at collage doing a mechanic engendering and getting ready to go to the yard to enhance my pipe fitting.

  • Developed my skills using power tools and hand tools throughout my time in the collage workshop when doing various different tasks.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Being able to be hands on instead of being in a class being taught when I can now work on my own to teach myself and learn from others in a practical environment.

  • It’s structured at a high standard as it’s organised into set days for different activities.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A good amount as if I need help I can get it if it’s for academic or for personal reasons fast as I have straight contact with employers.

  • A good amount as if there is a problem they sort it by speaking to college.

  • I feel it will help me a lot as I am getting a better understanding hands on how to use all the tools.

  • I have no idea, I haven’t looked into it.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It’s a great learning environment, much better then going to uni as you get the exact things you will need and there’s no messing around which helps me excel.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Practice being confident when in an interview environment and do research into the company to find out what they do so you can find the right role that fits you.
