What my role involves is a mixture of face to face asking people questions about my job role and then also taking and ringing people for updates to do with different areas I use.
Yes I have developed the skills of talking to new people and then expressing my opinion in a constructive way to make sure i get the correct answer each time.
I really enjoy the programme I am on. I am always learning new things and finding challenges which I go and fix to help my area of the business i work in.
My programme is structured okay. There have been some problems along the way which has been a problem but were fixed over a prolonged period of time.
I receive lots of support from my employer always making sure that the work I am doing is possible to complete and I am able to work to a high enough standard.
I receive a decent amount of support from the training provider. We work 2 days out of the month with the training provider with them helping me, but also with the task set we receive lots of help and if we ever get stuck someone is there for support.
The qualification helps me for sure though the training provider and has given me more confidence to speak up in large group of people to make sure my opinion gets heard.
Yes, there are extra activities. I am doing a STEM day where I am going into a school to teach them about science, maths engineering and manufacturing in my work place.
