My role on the Sage Intacct medium performance marketing team as an apprentice consists of mostly lead gen. What i mean by this is running weekly webinars ( coffee breaks), organising third party events and webinars, bidding on leads i think are suitable with a sperate budget that i manage and also getting to be creative to come up with copy for my own email campaigns. In addition to this i also run our Brighttalk channel which is essentially a hub with all of our third party webinars on.
When i first started in my role, i was feeling some heavy imposter syndrome thinking that i wouldn't be good enough or have the skills/ knowledge required to complete my tasks at a below average standard however in these first 7 months not only has my knowledge of all of the Sage systems expanded massively but my overall marketing knowledge has grown so much and i cant believe how quickly i have caught on to everything. Of course there is still a lot for me to learn however im so proud of how far i have come in this short space of time.
In terms of the actual work side of things, i cant give enough praise to Sage. From the onboarding to the constant support day to day from my amazing team and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] ( who i report to) they never make me feel stupid for asking a question and always go above and beyond to offer support and help whenever i need it. In terms of the actual learning and the external college that provide the learning and "support", to put this politely it has been a bit of a shambles. however i have already raised my concerns so will not repeat them here as they have been highlighted to [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]
To be honest the structure of the programme from the college side is quite poor- we don't get given much support or given proper deadlines for our assignments or learning and whenever we do hand in a piece of work it never gets properly marked. we get left in the dark quite often in terms of when our next calls are and when work is due etc In terms of the programme from a Sage perspective i think it has been pretty perfect!and i agreed when i started on a 1 year programme that we would review every few months to track my progression and improvement! I was eased into the team and the world of marketing and i was allowed to take everything at my own pace however i progressed quite quickly in the initial first few months and took on a lot of responsibilities straight away which i loved!
I cannot begin to explain how great the levels of support have been that i have received from not just my boss or the members of our close Intacct marketing team but the whole of the medium marketing team have provided constant amazing support whenever needed. I love being a part of this time because we all strive to help each other and make everything easier for others which i think is such a lovely quality to have in a team.

To be honest everything that has helped me to progress and learn has ll been done on the job. None of the learning or assignments that i have been assigned have helped to expand my knowledge at all. I will also be wanting to get a higher level of qualification after recompleting this one perhaps a CIM level 6 in marketing.
every Tuesday we have the famous Winnersh bake off where two people bake something and everyone comes and tastes it, its very fun! I wish there was more sporting opportunities like a football team etc as i would without a doubt take part as i love football more than anything!
Yes
Because i think that Sage have so many amazing opportunities for people of all ages and i think they try their best to be inclusive as possible. I never have a boring day here at Sage which i love as there is always something new to learn or do. In addition to this i have also been given amazing opportunities to travel all over the country numerous times in just my first 7 months which i absolutely love!
Honestly best bit of advice to anyone applying at Sage would be to try to be yourself as much as possible because you are going to be valued much more for being yourself than trying to be someone you think they want to hire as there's only one you so you need to show everyone why your great!
