As a crew team member, I attend to customers and make sure all their orders are well packed, keep my environment clean and make sure my corner is well stocked up for every order we are about to receive. Also, I pack deliveries for Uber eats and just eats.
Yes, I’ve learnt a lot since I started working. I’ve also developed my people skills, communication skills and team work skills. I’ve learnt how to work at a very fast pace and not get exhausted easily. I’m able to make some things I couldn’t before.
I enjoy my programme a lot. All my experiences will be useful at a later stage of my life. I trust that these skills also impact in my programme and my day to day activities. I enjoy working in a fast paced environment and cannot work if it’s not fast enough.
It is well structured. Everyone is designated areas where they work and have to stick to it. There are structured shift times and they are uploaded a week to the said shift in order for us to prepare in advance or make changes where due.
I receive the support due to every employee. There are people to reach out to if you are not mentally up for anything, different people to talk to and also words of encouragement are put out at our workplace to keep people going. It is good enough for me.
I receive enough support from my trainer. The processes are properly explained and questions are always answered when asked. Also, there are breaks to help ease your mind and chances to retake the assessments at the end of the programme. This is enough support for me as I understand everything at the end.
These qualifications are programmed to teach us certain things that help us improve in our field. After thoroughly studying and learning it helps me perform better in my role because I’m now applying what I have learnt in daily duties. Also, there are explanatory videos that contribute to my knowledge.
Yes, there are. There are voluntary exercises where staff members can decide to join, also games on the platform to play and win some exciting prizes. I don’t know about any social activity as I just joined 3 months ago and I have not experienced any, but I guess so.
Yes
It is well established, diversified and open to all kinds of people. They have good staff / employer relationships and are very supportive of both part time and full time staff. They take time to train new team members before they can stand on their own.
Ensure you are able to work in a fast paced environment. Be polite, be kind and very open, learn to accommodate everyone both customers and colleagues, be punctual, be happy about everything you do there, be ready to learn different things at the same time, be attentive and supportive to everything and everyone in your environment.
