I am a Software engineer meaning during the day I work within my placement to create programs/solutions for my team.
I'm continually developing the skills I had when I joined the company. I have plenty of opportunity to learn new skills, for example working with different programming languages.
I really enjoy the program. This program is exactly what I wanted to do after college and I hope to continue to work as a software engineer.
When we join the company we have a 4 week induction and then we are straight into our placements. There is a placement schedule for everyone on the course and for the full length of it. The learning modules of the course are also outlined well.
I receive the exact amount of support that I require. Weekly meeting have been put in place per my personal and professional needs, such as planning and learning support.
Again, receive as much as we require.
Sometimes I feel as though I learn more on the job than I do through my training provider. for example, I learn more complex programming techniques on the job before being taught them at university.
