I’m employed as a joiner but currently have done a very small amount of joinery work.
I’ve learnt domestic joinery at college which I have then transferred to my role in the company.
It can be good, but not as good as I expected due to lack of joinery work.
Structure and organising at college are great, on site it’s not as organised.
Not the best I’ve received from a job, but not the worst.
We haven’t begun doing the work we require to complete our portfolio yet.
You need to be trained as a joiner in order to be a joiner so the qualification is needed to do the job.
Not really.
No
It’s not the kind of place my friends would like to work in.
Make sure you understand the role you’ve applied for and what your day to day will look like before accepting the job.
