  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I'm a CRO apprentice which means that we're using insights from user research and analytics to optimise the .com experience to improve conversion rates. I communicate with stakeholders, write emails and attend meetings on a daily basis.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've learnt how to communicate better (more professionally), how to present more effectively in meetings and learnt many technical skills around marketing and some of the tools we use daily.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy it a lot! I don't hate coming to work, which is always a good thing, and enjoy the work that we're producing. Colleagues are approachable and friendly which helps too.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Sort of structured! It's a case of shadowing management and learning as you go.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Enough!

    8/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Not a huge amount from the training provider, but it's not really required much of the time

    6/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My role in marketing is quite niche and so although I enjoyed learning about the other mainstream areas within the qualification, it wasn't needed in my job. It is extremely useful to know if I'd like to change jobs in the future though so I'm glad I did it!

    8/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Sage Foundation Days

    8/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Sage to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend Sage to a friend as the wages are great for apprentices and the environment is fast paced and fun to work in.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sage?
  • Be yourself and don't be afraid to let your personality shine through
