Planning the operations for the week ahead, making sure to tackle the backlog and plan effectively, daily meetings, communication with the shop floor, lots of responsibility
New excel skills, communicating effectively, planning, problem solving
I enjoy the program as it gives me a good overview of the entire company over the course of the apprenticeship without being stuck in one role, so then I can piece the puzzle together towards the end and truely understand where I want to go
I'd say it's well organised, with monthly workshops and a steady amount of off the job training to be completed around our placements
The support has been incredible, anything I need there will always be somebody there to help me or answer any questions I have, it's been really great
Our tutor, has been incredibly supportive and always makes sure to ask if we need any assistance or if we'd like to go over any previous topics, also checks in if we have a tricky off the job assignment
It helps cover all the key aspects within the supply chain, learning about procurement, or logistics before entering a placement based on that can provide a good foundation to build upon
There are plenty of activities that are ongoing, I haven't participated in any, but there is always the option in the future
Yes
A great community of people all striving for greatness, you really feel one of the team once you've settled into your placements, and the support for me personally has been incredible and i'd highly recommend
Be open-minded, challenge why things are the way they are, and always ask questions
