I have recently been promoted to 2nd assistant where I run my own systems and pillars, I look after our restaurants food safety, schedule and community sections.
Yes, both, I learnt a lot during my apprenticeship including my Maths and English skills, the job role I am now in has also taught me a lot including computer skills and leadership skills.
I enjoyed my programme as I was always learning and meeting new people. The trainers are great and always make you feel comfortable.
The programme was fairly well structured to begin with, however, I had a change of trainer due to illness which made the programme less organised in my opinion.
McDonalds supported me during my apprenticeship and always gave me time to complete the tasks I was given.
The trainers are always there to help and even helped me outside of their working hours through email.
I think my apprenticeship helped me become a better leader and problem solver.
Yes, McDonalds has many outside events to join in with. The one I always attend is the McDonald’s football cup which our store came 2nd in this year!
Yes
The company has always had great training, great managers and they all support you throughout everything. They have provided me with great opportunities throughout my time here and I love my job and even after 8 years.
Go for it, give your everything and the company will reward you, you can really make a career out of McDonald’s and make some life long friends!
