I'm now a Manager at McDonald's I run the shift, send breaks, ensure great quality service and cleanliness to our customers giving a quick and great service to all of our customers and rectifying any mistakes that may be made by our staff or any issues the customer may have
I learnt more of how to deal with disabilities and elderly customers knowing they need a much different approach and you can't rush them, also to make children feel involved in the customer experience bring a great satisfaction to them. I have learnt more about the back of house stuff that goes behind running a business rather than just serving the customers
I really enjoyed it at the time, it was nice to see all the different aspects of hospitality like wines etc and how different cutlery is used it was very eye opening looking into the whole sector, and also how much better I was at maths since I was older and left school it was more bearable
Very well organised my coach was always great at communicating and we always let eachother know well in advance if there was an issue with anything in the course she was very approachable and could talk to her about anything. Having all my course laid out in front of me wmabd to have set takes to do each week was fantastic
Lots of support I got lots of time off the floor and the managers at the time always did their best to help me as when I started I didn't know much about the serving customers or making drinks side of the business so was supported well by the whole company
A lot she was fantastic really couldn't fault her, I had her work number and email address so could email or call with any problems and she was very fast at responding to my queries which felt fantastic! Would definitely recommend them for this as it's always nice to be supported
It vastly improved my role while I was completing my apprenticeship as I was still learning new things it was like an extra stepping stone to help me move on in my career in McDonald's Learning all the different parts so thank you for the support you all gave me
We have lots of charity events so we help with a litter pick in the area which is great to see people outside of work and to also help the community, we have a company football team but I am sady not a very sporty man but it's a great idea for those interested
Yes
Because it really helps move you forward in the company and gives you a great view on the customer and why they can expect, also an extra qualification always looks good on a CV if you want to move forward on your career or when you move on to somewhere else
Just to have an open mind with the job, it can have a bad reputation but I have met some of my closest friends and even my wife at this job it's fantastic and really good for social skills we are younger children come to work and are really quiet and within 4 months they are out of their shell and full of confidence
