I come into work and huddle with my collegues about how the previouds dah went. After this I go onto the phones and answer customer queries about the payroll software we provide. During this time on some days I may have extra time for my apprenticeship work or to self reflect
I have developed existing skills such as my communicational skills while talking to customers on the phone. I have made this better by adapting my vocational skills to help the customer understand me in the best possible way. A new skill I am developing is my abilty to speak to new people.
I am enjoying the program very much. It is a lot better then what I expected it to be like. It is not only the business that is making me enjoy the program but in fact most of the people who I have met during this time have made it alot more enjoyable
My programme is very organised. There has not been a time during the course of this programme where I have felt misguided or lost as to what I am meant to be doing that day. I also feel a lot of this comes down to my manager who has been great with me and the rest of the team
During this time I have been at Sage I have recieved a lot of support from my employer on a day to day basis and never felt mistreated or have a lack of support from the employer and from the team as a whole. The support has been nothing but excellent.
I recieve absolutely tonnes of support from my training provider on a day to day basis that are massivly helping me and the rest of the team towards are desired qualification. My training provider goes beyond expectations with support and I am never left to my own devices when it comes to the colledhe work side
I feel like my training provider has massivly helped me perform better in my day to day role through the lessons that she provides. This is because learning about the different customer types that I encounter on a day to day basis help me perform better in my role by meeting their needs
I have been involved in a few extra curricular activities during my short time at Sage so far. An example of this is that a few of us in the office have created a six a side football team and have joined a monday night league to play together in
Yes
Because although I have only been here for a six month period I have already developed massivly in my role and as a person. Sage also has many career oppotunities starting from an apprentice and gives you the best chance to build up and develop into a bigger job in the organisation
Any tips or advise I could give would be first be yourself Sage care about the person just as much as the previous qualifications. Second would be to research the business to get an understanding of who they are and what they offer as it will make life harder going in blind
