Working with suppliers and engineers to place contracts for pieces of equipment. Working on admin tasks, spreadsheets, weekly/daily meetings.
The apprenticeship has definitely helped to improve my confidence and communication skills, as well as IT Skills.
It depends on the placement. Some placements are really enjoyable and you gain a lot from, but others not so much.
I am a supply chain apprentice, however the qualification that I am working towards is a L2 Business Administration. I think it would benefit me more if there was a level 2 supply chain qualification that I could work towards, as this would relate more to my job.
Yes there are often activities held, such as away days.

The benefits from working at BAE Systems are brilliant - competitive salary, share scheme, pension, cycle-to-work scheme etc.
Be confident and show personality - I can only speak for supply chain personally, but being a 'people person' is really encouraged here.
