When I am at university for a semester I am like a normal student with no work commitments. I am based in Operate Digital during placement and I using google appscript to develop systems to be used internally.
I have learnt how to develop websites on appscript, which has further developped my coding knowledge.
I love the blend of university and work - it is a great balance while having no debt. I have enjoyed moving around the different departments and trying out different things. I believe the role could be more technical but I have seen improvement on this.
There is clear division between uni and placement which I like. I have worked in Consultancy and Digital Operate which has been good to compare them. However, it would have been nice to have more rotations to get more experience.
I have a career coach and a buddy as well as my manager. PwC is very good at networking events and giving opportunities.
I have completed multiple qualifications that have been fully paid for by PwC.
The qualifications provide me with confidence that I can complete tasks as well as giving me a good base knowledge.
I attend networking events with senior members.
