I manage a team of staff to run the restaurant that serves food and drink to the general public. I look after food safety, cash and training.I handled money and enter waste counts, clean equipment. Order stock and handle transfer of stock. I also log calls to different business to get equipment fixed and swapped out.
I have learnt a lot more about job descriptions and hiring especially about hiring the correct people for the jobs. I have also learnt a lot about diversity and in much more detail. I have learnt about time management and how to use my time better in order to achieve my targets.
I am enjoying learning new things and pushing myself. After being out of education for a long time, it was nice to be able to do something for myself. I am also enjoying helping bring my store forward with the new activities I have learnt that will push us all to achieve better results.
My programme is well organised and I understand what I am doing and when and where my meetings are. I also have a a good relationship with my tutor and mentor so have all the help I need to hand. The structure of the programme is easy to follow and all fits together well.
I have lots of support from my management team. I have scheduled time to complete all my work and my visits are planned into my schedule. I also have learnt lots of different tasks that are logged as off the job training which will go towards my apprentice work which is above the expected level.
I receive support from my training provider who keeps in touch often and is always on hand if I need any extra help. I have had to ask quite a few questions regarding tasks I am unsure of and they get in touch within a couple of hours to explain what I need to do.
I feel I will understand workforce management and the diversity side of the company more and be able to work more with the business manager to employ the correct people for the company rather than hiring because we are struggling.

Yes
Because it is a great company to work for and they look after their staff. I have asked lots of family and friends to work at McDonalds as it is good to work around children and the money is good. Holidays and benefits are on par with any company.
Use the website, answer honestly, have good availability and a good sense of direction. Be positive and willing to work hard.
