I am a control account manager and take responsibility for the start to end of a specific suite of qualifications.
Developed my existing skills and learning the language of Project Management through the course.
Until recently I was really enjoying it. I am finding it harder to source the resources and their comms are poor. Pearson are fully supportive.
The programme, on paper is very organised and structured but in practice materials and guides are shared late, sometimes you do not get the slides or information about a class until late the day before so you cannot prepare.
Loads of support from my employer. I have a mentor who has connected me to people across the organisation and I get more than enough time off to study.
There is limited support as they do not understand how we work in our business.
I have greatly improved my working practices and understand the business aims and goals better. I can now ensure that I consider all aspects and work closer with stakeholders as a result.
I am fully involved in Employee Relations Groups for different groups of people, there are regular meet-ups both official and unofficial and we are encouraged to chat even when fully virtual and have social meetings.

The people are amazing, the benefits are very generous and we all work together. The CEO is such fun and has brought a sense of fun to the job.
Be prepared to learn and be proactive in offering support outside of your immediate team. We have a fantastic team who will give each other a hand when we can. No one is in a silo.
