Day to day my role involves shadowing the other technicians, tyre fitting, routine servicing as well as other repairs that I assist and learn
Learnt lots of new skills such as fitting tyres, servicing, some minor repairs - also learnt communication skills which gives me more confidence when speaking to other technicians / customers
I really enjoy it, the team in the centre support me and show me things so that I can learn
I receive lots of support from Halfords when needed and I know that there is lots of support readily available if needed
I receive a lot of help from the college, they are always checking in on progress and make sure I am ok
Yes
