my role at sage is to take calls from customers who have our payroll program, we help them with issues they may be facing. I also have offline time where i can perfect my skills and learn more each day. I also have time to do my apprentice work which is a large chunk of my apprentice.
i have learnt a more in depth vocabulary and developed more skills payroll based such as tax calculations
i enjoy the program more than i thought, it is challenging and different everyday. i love the social aspect of the job
My programme is somewhat structured, you know each day what to expect but things do change around often
i receive a tonne of support from employers such as support plans, coaches while on calls and help with my offline work
i got a lot of training at the beginning of my role and still continuevto on calls
i think it helps me a lot as the qualification is to be great in customer service
not so much set up by the company, but Sage has allowed me to make great friends and we have set up a football team outside of work
