My role is to support customers with any queries or issues that they may have around the program I support. I need to answer calls from customers and create cases to detail all notes and steps I have gone through. I also have many different processes and procedures to follow like DPA which is the Data protection act.
During my apprenticeship I have learnt many new skills as well as developed many of my existing skills. Some of the skills I have developed and improved are my people skills as well as communication skills as the job is customer centred and focuses around providing support to my customers.
I enjoy my programme a lot, I enjoy working at Sage as it's a great place to work. My apprenticeship was brilliant and I received loads of support whenever I needed it. The whole programme was well thought out and was easy to follow and helped me to complete my apprenticeship.
The programme was organised and structured very well as every part of the programme made sense and linked in with each other. It was easy to move on to different topics and subjects as some things related to one another. The training around the programme was also of a high standard.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, I have never felt that I can't get support from anyone and it's very easy to reach out to the right person whenever you need support. Everyone at Sage wants to help you and help you improve your skills.
I received a lot of support from my training provider when I was working towards my qualifications, whenever I got stuck or had any questions about any of the work I was doing I was able to ask my trainer and she would always be happy to help me. I never felt that I couldn't get support from anyone.
I feel that my qualification has helped me a lot within my role as it has taught me how I can treat my customers the best as well as how to provide them with the best service possible, it has helped me to understand the customers point of view and see their side of things.
There are many different options for any extra curricular activities that I can get involved in at work, there are things like the Sage 5 a side football team as well as the fantasy football league. The company also offers foundation days to every employee which allows us to go out and do charity work throughout the year.
