I am within the Operational Risk Team here at M&G more specifically in the Reporting and Framework Team. My usual day consists of running various different reports and visuals to help advise the different Business Areas when making decisions
I have learnt a variety of different skills since beginning my role here. Both technical skills and my softer skills such as communication, presenation and working with others.
I have really enjoyed my time working here as an apprentice. The level of support you receive is brilliant and I settled in really quickly into my role which ultimately allowed me to learn new skills a lot quicker.
I believe the structure of my programme is excellent I think it allows me to have enough time to keep up with my workload and complete my assignments at the same time
I receive a great level of support from both my colleagues and the organisation in general. Everyone is always offering a helping hand and offering their support.
My skills coach and apprenticeship leader are always their to support me and I feel comfortable to reach out at any point if there are any issues.
My qualification does support my work within my role in aspects but my roles sometimes doesn't match exactly what I am learning through my qualifaication.
I have joined in a few activities my team gets involved with over the past 7 months and there are plans to do more extra curricular activities in the future.
