My role is a transport planner, I contribute towards baseline analysis which involves site visits and audits of the study area, and produce concept designs and plans using CAD/Adobe.

Yes, CAD.

I have been able to steer my projects to things I am interested in more and get to work on exciting projects.

Some confusion regarding things such as expenses, portfolio at the start which has been cleared up.

Not all material is relevant day to day. It depends which team you work in.
