currently I spend my whole week in college, on Mondays I mechanical maintenance, on Tuesdays I do PLC's, on Wednesdays I do CNC programming which all work towards completing my level 2 and then on Thursday I do my level 3 BTEC in engineering.
yes, whilst working towards my level 2 in manufacturing engineering I have gained new skills and developed existing knowledge and skills on subjects.
I do enjoy my programme but the lack of communication and organisation at the college can put extra stress on my workload making it less enjoyable.
the structure that is established is great with my termly timetable, however organisation within each unit is very poor and is often left with wasted time that can be spent much better, improving skills and knowledge
I have reviews every few months where my knowledge and skills that may have improved are discussed and then if there are currently any issues that I'm having with the college
I receive plenty of support with working towards my qualifications especially when having to complete the write ups and how to correctly address the task
it will give me basic knowledge for me to perform well in my role ready for me to improve
I will be going on outwardbound trip where me and my colleagues will complete team building exercises and activities which include gorge walking and raft building
Yes
because it is a well established company which will help to develop your career journey and are very supportive in this development
be prepared for last minute communication
