Supporting the Project Manager, my responsibilities include developing, implementing, and managing Document Control, ensuring timely processing of design drawings and requests for information between the delivery team and client. Supporting, advising, and progress reporting to ensure the effective management of change and risk in accordance with the contract.
I have developed in confidence, given a lead role for the document control function, chairing meetings, writing procedures and teaching other team members and stakeholders internal and external. The project I was supporting was particularly difficult at first as the client hadn't undertaken a EPC role previously.
Really enjoying it, UCEM have been amazing, always there to help and recently I recieved some bad news and they where in touch right away to ask how they could help and support me.
The programme is extremely well organised and structured, and any technical issues are resolved quickly.
My employer is extremely supportive in all L&D, there is always someone that can help with any research required. However, lower rating due to a slow start and because they are currently sourcing the best project to be deployed.
100% supportive.
Having the theory behind the job skills will set me in good stead for the future.
Professional networking events are encouraged as well as team get togethers and social activities.
Yes
Supportive, encourage training and development, everyone is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, fantastic team building days quarterly, everyone is treated equally and the PRIDE values are adopted throughout the business. Amazing learning opportunities. Onboarding was very organised.
Your only regret would be that you didn't join sooner!!
