Practical work at college and theory work contributing to my level 2 qualification at college for my apprenticeship. This includes machine work and handskill work.
I’ve developed enormously on my practical skill and knowledge, especially health and safety wise. You’re taught to work safely and to quality. Learning to use machines you’d never expect to understand and craft things that are complicated is a huge accomplishment and gives you the feeling you can do anything you put your mind to.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme as it’s easy to understand and follow due to the enormous support from the company, whenever you find anything difficult there’s always help there.
The overall structure is great, and the organisation is tremendous; you know exactly what to do and you’re instructed correctly.
Immense support, we’ve had multiple mental health talks and presentations and you feel welcomed and free to talk about any issues/problems you have.
Immense support, without them I’d struggle to complete it; they’ve helped me and gave me the confidence and skill to do the tasks.
Each day I spent training I feel more and more confident that I can do the tasks within my role, it’s a great feeling and I’d recommend anyone to take it and go for it.
The company do activities such as rounders to raise money, and support the LGBT+ community to raise money for them which is tremendous.
Yes
It’s a tremendous company that will give you a great and prosperous future, it gives you the help needed and is a great opportunity I think nobody should turn down.
Be confident, be calm and most of all be yourself!
