I am involved in corporation tax compliance and advisory. I complete tax returns for the client and also prepare pieces of tax advice.
I have developed significant skills in relation to research and understanding legislation.
The exams are tough and sometimes badly organised but I enjoy the work I am involved in.
The programme is poorly organised, with little consideration being given to the structure of the exams. I am given conflicting information and I often have to chase materials myself, which can take months.
Those in my team are very supportive but I do not feel to have the same support from the wider firm. The Early Careers team often fail to give adequate support.
My training provider has provided comprehensive teaching and there are regular progress tests to complete.
The training provider has given me the knowledge necessary for me to fulfil my role.
Not really.
Yes
I enjoy working here and the local team are supportive.
Think about why you want to do the job and if you are ready for the committment the exams take.
