My day to day role varies massively, I tend to work remotely on mondays and fridays and on a tuesday or a wednesday i'll be in the office or on a site visit all across the UK undertaking meetings and checking the overall programme and my thursdays are for university.
I've learned so many skills, these come in the form of communication skills because I have had to get used to speaking to and meeting lots of different new people every day and also my IT skills have improved a lot because most days i will be using my Laptop
I enjoy my programme massively, this is because my day to day role always varies meaning that i never really get bored at work and i believe this is a key thing in the workplace because it gives you motivation to do better and provide an overall better service to clients
My programme is very well organised. I have a set day each week for the next five years specifically for university and i also receive on the job training that comes in the form of excel sessions all the way to going to visit external places for things such as first aid courses
I receive a massive amount of support from my employer, whether its helping me if i get stuck on trying to do my uni assignments or coursework to them giving me different jobs and helping me along the way so that i can be familiar with all different aspects of my job
I personally believe that I receive a lot of support from my training provider when it comes to working towards my qualifications because every assignment or coursework that we are asked to do we receive a full briefing on what needs to be done and why it is an important factor.
My qualification through the Nottingham Trent University helps me perform better in my role because a strong majority of the courses and modules relate heavily to what I have to do at work but they usually go hand in hand meaning that sometimes my role at work helps me in my university assignments
There are so many extra curricular activities to get involved in at my work. There are frequent networking events and every month we partake in one sporting event. We also play football monthly and there are quarterly socials which consists of some sort of event to get the whole business together
Yes
I would and have recommended this company multiple times to a friend because it is such a good company to work for, they are flexible, there is always something to look forward to socially and it has a good working environment in the office and when working externally we are always professional
Advice i would give if someone wanted to apply to this company would be show passion and dedication and obviously show that you have some knowledge about the profession but also show an actual interest in the company and what made you want to apply to them specifically over other places.
