I am an Internal Audit Graduate. This involves carrying out audit engagements on the annual audit plan. This involves engaging with stakeholders to assess controls and risk management processes across the business.
Yes I have developed my communication skills massively as well as learning about risk management within large corporations.
I very much enjoy my programme. My team are fantastic and approachable and the early careers sessions Experian put on are of great value. My apprenticeship with Kaplan is also enjoyable and informative.
There have been issues with allocating Kaplan talent coaches to me with one leaving without me being informed and another being trained up only to leave just before our first meeting. However, the actual workshops and learning content has been well organised.
The support from my employer is fantastic from my line manager, colleagues and early careers function.
Again, there has been a huge issue with allocating me a talent coach up until recently which has been very confusing and left me unaware of how to progress at points.
I believe it gives me great context, teaches me of standards and elements of best practice which are very beneficial in my day to day work.
Yes there are lots of activities such as socials, networking events and football sessions which I engage with.
Yes
The support from both management and early careers has been fantastic and there is an array of activities to get involved with.
To fully engage with the application process, show initiative and be open in asking any questions to management prior to onboarding.
