I am a project manager, a majority of my work involves admin work such as controlling and tracking documentation in the form of things like risk registers. Since I am new to my apprenticeship I have been doing a bit of everything from risk tracking, to closing projects, to procuring, to the environmental side of PM like ecology surveys.
Yes.
I enjoy taking on the responsibility and I take pleasure in the fact that I am a part of something bigger. I like the programme I work on and the goals it aims for.
I believe it's my company's first time taking on apprentices, I feel like I personally have been managed and taken on well, however the work I do compared to other apprentices can seem inconsistent at times.
I receive a lot of support from my team and my mentor especially.
My employer takes on a large group so sometimes it may seem like it's hard to reach out, however the times I have, I have been supported very well.
I can sometimes see the link between my qualifications and work done in the workplace, however the majority of the time, it feels separated. I am aware of the fact I am new and it's very possible that the stuff I have learnt will become useful later in my apprenticeship.
Yes, Thames host many events and social gatherings within my team.
