I work in the risk consulting team, this involves assessing clients control environment and determining how effective it is at mitigating the risks to the client. On a day-to-day basis, I will hold client meetings, perform some analysis and write up reports of my findings.
Yes I am completing my ACA accountancy qualification outside of work.
Part of a large graduate intake which meant I met lots of new people and made friends, day to day work is okay.
Overall structure is good, however the apprenticeship parts that need to be completed on the side are poorly organised.
Employer is very supportive and flexible in meeting exam needs.
We get study leave per exam and an additional 5 days a year for study.
The ACA is applicable to the role and helps boost your knowledge of finance.
Will sometimes have socials with work, would prefer more involvement in sports.

Friendly environment, nice people, good route to study ACA.
