I work as a HGV recovery driver and day to day I load and transport broken down vehicles that can’t be repaired by AA roadside technicians.
I came into this with no prior knowledge of the HGV industry and have learnt loads as well as gaining HGV C & C+E category licenses.
I have enjoyed learning a totally new skill set.
It’s been very well organised.
I have had amazing support from the AA.
GTG have been amazing at supporting us.
It has taught me much more about the wider HGV industry.
