I am completing the Level 5 Professional Coaching qualification with Raise the Bar. This has been very beneficial to my role as Quality Lead as it has helped me to evolve my training content thinking about communication styles etc, and mainly to develop all colleagues who complete coaching and training them to be great coaches
I am loving my journey so far with Raise the Bar. The content it right for my level of knowledge and experience. The trainers who run the workshops are knowledgeable and the assignments help me to absorb the information needed to succeed in my apprenticeship. I'm feeling confident about end point assessment,
Both my employer and Line Manager are incredibly supportive and I have the time I need to focus on my assignments, the off the job hours such as learning, training and developing my skills across the role. I have regular check ins with my Line Manager to support me with it
My Coach is fantastic! She's understanding of my workload which has meant I've been behind a few times but we come up with a plan together. She responds to my emails etc really quickly so when I need help I get it as soon as possible which is great
it 100% is supporting me in my role as Quality Lead as I spend a lot of time on what I do coaching and communicating with other colleagues from Advisors to Leadership and Executives. The course has also helped me to self reflect as well which has been invaluable.
There used to be, and if there is its not widely known to colleagues. This is something i would like the business to focus on again as it helps with colleague engagement, networking and overall well being which I am very passionate about. Hopefully it will happen in the near future

I have been with Halfords for nearly 10 years now and have loved it. There are so many opportunities to develop and grow, not only with your roles and career, but also academically through opportunities like the apprenticeships. They look after you as an employee which is priceless with a job
Go for it!! We live by 4 values - wow our customers, be better every day, pride in expertise and one halfords family - so how you can demonstrate living those values is a great place to start! just be yourself, and focus on what you can do, what are your transferrable skills
