The apprenticeship has gave me a great insight into the world of quarrying , which is beneficial as keen student willing to learn . The POPD covers all key topic for a foot way in to the world of quarrying, and learning about what products are made on different sights . Great course.
I have learnt to work In large groups and small groups and then lone working. I have learnt to listen and take other’s opinion in an account. It has also made you do one mobile plant training in which I did on a Rigid 100t dumper which I have no passed out on.
I enjoy getting out of the day to day hustle from work to a nice peaceful learning space , I have enjoyed the POPD some topics can be long however the lectures made some topics easy to understand which could be quite nitty gritty. But all in all I have enjoyed the course.
It is very well organised one thing they could do different in the “Save a Life” course actually make it a first aid course with a certificate but all in all the course is well structured and organised to cater for everyone’s ability to get the maximum out of everyone.
My employer is the best I’ve had through my working life, he so supportive and will answer any questions I have, he’ll always make time for me then any trips I want to broaden my knowledge he will organise. He does anything he can so I have a foot in the door.
My training provider, helps me with any problems I have .
It allows me to help other people with problems and any queries because I now know what to do myself.
I don’t think as of yet
