On a day-to-day basis I look after a small team of people as their team leader who provide customer service support to customers who call in. I look after any customer complaints as well as deal with any issues in the team. I also help with the team schedules and team dynamics
I have gained a lot of experience in customer service and after completing my customer service apprenticeship I got promoted to team leader and now completing a team leader apprenticeship. I have both developed existing skills and learned lots of news skills which have helped me to get promoted.
I enjoyed the first pcourse I did that helped me get a promotion which i why I decided to do another one. I am enjoying my course. It's great to speak to other team leaders and learn from what they do as well as from my trainer. This course is harder than my first one but I know it will benefit me.
The course is structured well and I always know what tasks I have to do on onefile. I can complete work and upload it to onefile easily. I know when I have sessions booked and my trainer always make sure I understand what we've learned in each session which is great
I get the support i need from my manager although it is sometimes hard to get them to come to reviews as they are so busy. They understand what i need to do on the course and give me the time I need at work to make sure i can do all my tasks
My trainer is always available to help me when I need it and they deliver good training sessions which I enjoy. I have reviews with my trainer and they help me with my scorecards to see what areas I am good at and what areas I need to develop further in
I can do my role much better. As this is a promotion and I've never been a team leader before, I'm learning all of the things I need to know to perform better. I've learned more about self awareness as well as things i never thought of like project management. All of these things will help em at work.
