My main role is to provide support to my team on various projects that we have going on within the water and waste water networks. I am involved in a variety of tasks such as helping with technical reports and also providing drawings for our projects.
I have learnt a lot of new skills. This involves using software that I have previously not engaged with. Another skill I have learnt is language that is used for the reports that are done. I have developed my communication skills since I have been in my role.
To a large extent, I enjoy my role. I enjoy learning new things and getting to a stage where I can do it to a good standard. The programme is structured well, with the day for university also being a enjoyable part of the programme.
Since I have been in my role, it has been very well structured. I have not been left confused as to what is happening. I have a clear understanding of what is wanted of me and the path that I have followed since I have started is been organised very well.
I receive a good amount of support from the people in my team. If I ever have a query then I know that I can always ask them about it and get support when needed.
I can receive support from my training provider whenever I need it. I haven't asked for a lot of support from them, but when I have, they have come back to me with the help that I need.
My qualification helps me to perform better in my role because it provides the understanding I need to be able to apply it to my industry. I am provided the knowledge of what will be needed in my role.
There have been multiple activities that I am able to get involved in.
Yes
I have a great team of people that I work with and I feel I have settled well into my role because of that.
From my experience, Thames Water is a great company to work for with great people.
