I am mostly in the office but when I am with clients I help them with things they cannot do themselves like washing them. Because they find it difficult to do it themselves. I am also going to be working with children with learning disabilities which is very exciting yh
I have learnt a lot of skills such as bettering my communication and listening skills. Along with learning how to use certain equipment such as the hoist and certain ways of the house to move the clients if we are taking care of them in bed and they cannot help themselves.
I enjoy my program very much, it is great. Mostly because I live helping people and I get to do what I love in the program which makes it very enjoyable and the fact that the people around me at work are very patient with me makes it enjoyable and very much.
They are very organised especially if something is wrong they are quick to find the solution and fix it. It is very easy to find the problem and all documents that are needed are there so it is easy to find and answer client’s questions when they ask them.
I receive a lot of support from my employer especially when I have questions. She is very patient with me because I tend to ask the same questions more than once because I have poor memory. This is very helpful she also gives me advice or support on how to do stuff better
My training providers are very helpful and they are encouraging me to be confident and helping me improve my knowledge in the sector which I am very grateful for. They are great and every month I do work and the work is usually easy but if there's a problem I feel comfortable going to them and ask
Due to the knowledge I am gaining during my lessons I have realised that my work is getting easier to do and I'm seeing improvements compared to when I don't started I have realised that I am much not confident compared to my first day but there is still room for improvement
Yes in my spare time I like to okay basketball and that required patience and team work which is very much needed in what I do. I have been doing it for 8 years now so I can deffo say there us improvement and I enjoy it very much yh
Yes
Because they are great, friendly people and very patient. You can really tell they love what they do and they put so much enthusiasm into what they do which I love. They encourage me to step out of my comfort zone and I'm very grateful for that actually yh
That is definitely worth it, the process may seem long but it's very worth it. Everyone is friendly and will take you out of your comfort zone. Everyone is great and friendly and nice and they are all very open minded and take your opinion into consideration
