Getting an insight to working with Siemens was absolutely incredible. The webinars were on time and very informative! On the last day, I had a chance to ask their CEO a question which he answered greatly and overall, the program was well prepared, the work was fun and engaging and I am really pleased!
I learnt quite a few things while doing my work experience. First of all, I got an insight into what I would really like to do and the programme taught me to be punctual and helped me with my time management overall. Thanks to my work experience, I find that getting work submitted on time is a lot easier than ever!
The work experience programme was engaging and interactive. There was never a time where I got bored of the work that I was given and thanks to the webinars, doing the work was a whole lot easier! I was given the opportunity to ask questions and overall, I am very satisfied and enjoyed my work experience!
The work experience programme was very well organised. It was easy to join webinars thanks to springpod and I was able to get the work done on time as I was given enough time to complete and submit my work. Overall, it was amazing, the presenters were punctual and everyone was friendly and supportive!
During the webinars, I had learnt about how inclusive the company really is: They stand against racism and encourage people of all backgrounds and cultures! I am really pleased about this and thanks to this, Siemens has a very diverse range of employees from different cultures and backgrounds that any new employee can speak with to feel comfortable and happy!
Thanks to my work experience, I was able to get a feel for many different sectors and job types within Siemens. It has also helped me to understand the sector that I would like to go into better, while also showing me what other sectors would look and feel like!
This work experience programme was unpaid however, despite this, I was able to take away a lot of useful skills that employers look for so that when I look for a job myself, I will be able to stand out from the rest! Therefore, highly recommended and NOT a waste of time!
There were a range of different webinars where I was able to ask employees from different sectors within Siemens, the questions which I had always been asking myself. The responses were amazing and thanks to the wide variety of webinars, I was able to meet and question other employees including the CEO himself!
Yes
It is a very welcoming company which stands agains racism and stands for innovation. I really like how everyone in the company is open and willing to answer any questions, while also enjoying their field of work. Employees are also sometimes sent abroad by the company which is really nice and allows employees to progress in the company and creates lots of future options for them!
In order to stand out, it is best to first do some research on the company and look for their requirements. Then, in your application, you should always mention the things you enjoy and mention key words like 'punctual' and 'organised' in order to stand out from the rest! Don't forget to mentions your hobbies!
