I got an idea for how a day to day job in Siemens would be like. I also could see the different sectors in Siemens itself. Siemens could also help me see if I could see myself do this job in my future or if engineering could be my future career.
I actually really enjoyed the work experience provided by Siemens. It was extremely fun and entertaining to complete. I really liked the live webinars, where you could ask different people in different sectors about thier day to day jobs and any question that you would want to ask them. The webinars were extremely useful to see if you could see yourself doing similar jobs in the future.
It was well organised as there were lots of work that i could complete each day without fail. Each module would contain lots of videos or interactive activities that would require lots of concentration. At the end of each module there would be a test, I found it useful as would mean that you couldn't cheat your way through the course.
I learnt quite a lot of good imformation while working for in the course. The culture of the company is shown to be really good and inclusive which was really good to see. The course exemplified Siemens dedication for inclusivity and how it includes women and people of different colour.
This work experience provided by Siemens has helped me a lot in terms of deciding which career path I would like to go down towards. The work experience has helped me in choosing between doctor or an engineer which i have been debating for quite some time now. So overall, I feel it was useful.
I was not paid any money for this course. However, I do not mind this what so ever, this is because I was bale to learn a lot of knowledge and got an understanding while going through this course. I do not feel that Siemens should pay any money as I am not helping them.
Yes, there were lots of opportunities to meet other employees through live webinars, however apart from that there were none other. The employees could help you with challenging problems such as a project or any question that I wanted to ask. In future i think that there should be a few more webinars over a longer period of time.
Yes

Make sure to complete the work experience within the time limit provided. The certificate that is given my Siemens holds a huge value that can be used in your resume in you future. To apply to Siemens is quite simple as there is a not a lot to they are looking for in terms of the work experience.
