1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I have been at my placement school since September I been supported throughout this new experience by LMP education. With the role as a teaching assistant I support the students to the best of my ability ensuring their safety in my watch also I help them develop new educational skills

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Before doing this apprenticeship I thought my multitasking skills were good but while being at the school it has become so much better to where I prioritise what is better for the students and my use of team work / communication has improved significantly to where I’m working with 4 other TA’s and have to solve situations to different problems and communicate to create strategies for the students

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Im enjoying this programme a great deal to where I am constantly learning a good amount of new things constantly whether it is about safeguarding or different school curriculums.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme I’m currently in is very organised especially with keeping in contact with me about my wellbeing and my progress and my tutor keeps in touch with me and up to date about meetings

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer where I am able to contact them about my progress and and vice versa

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a good amount of support to where I’m able to ask questions about things I’m learning about

It helps me understand and know more about the field I see myself in
