I am an audit assistant and my job is to produce audit working papers, project manage and direct a team
Communication, team working, problem solving skill and project management skills
I have enjoyed working in a dynamic working environment and learning new skills such as project management. However, as I progressed the working hours are much longer and it can be hard to manage my time between finishing work responsibilities and studying
Very well organised, Mazars work hard to ensure the pathway for exams and studying is available many months in advance
The support provided is based on if you ask for it. If you communicate your concerns or issues the firm is extremely helpful and supportive but is very much on you to reach out and tell the employer you are struggling
Alot of support, BPP provide alot of helpful areas like the support forums and email assistance
I feel my qualification is very applicable to my role as the information I apply on a day to day basis has derived from the studies I have undertaken
There are monthly social events ran by the audit department and quarterly socials with the whole office (all the service lines) there are some small social clubs for football but not much else
Yes
I feel the atmosphere created in the office is really good for a first time worker or an experienced employee and allows an individual to feel they are welcome and at home
Be yourself and know the role you are working towards as well as the Mazars key values
