on a day to basis my responsibilities will generally range from daily tasks such as updating data sheets, reviewing reports and handling and analysing data. my interactions will generally be between me and my manager as well as some internal and external parties then any calls or meetings that will need to be attended
i have developed and learnt plenty of new skills since the start of my apprenticeship. a new skill that i have learned is the navigation and use of excel and a skill that i have been developing is communication between myself and internal and external parties during calls or meetings.
i enjoy the programme that i am currently enrolled on, on the basis that it is benefitting my future career and giving me the wider range of knowledge and skills that are required to thrive in the workplace, i also enjoy my programme as it gives me a sense of direction and something to work towards.
the programme that i am on is organised and structured so that i am never asked to do something i am unable to do or something i am not yet trained on therefore you could argue it is well structured. however there could be room for improvement such as monitoring the apprentices time better
my employer gives me plenty of support and guidance whenever it is needed regardless of wat it be required for whether it is directly related to my apprenticeship and therefore job role or one of my college assignments i have been given to complete, whatever it is there is support from my employer.
i receive plenty of support from the training provider of my apprenticeship, this can be directly related towards an assignment they have given me to complete or just general support for the ,module that i am working on at that present moment. i will be given meetings for trainings on modules as and when they are completed and new ones are started
the qualification that the training provider provides help me perform my job better as it gives me wider knowledge of business and certain aspects of business that i wouldn't have otherwise known about or understood, which means i will be in a better position to use this knowledge for my job role.
there are extra curricula activates to do during hours in the office however these do come at a premium and is not something that is done regular.
Yes
siemens is a great company to work for, they provide versatility for work hours as well as a very positive and green culture within the business as well as providing endless benefits for its employees such as hybrid working or flexible working hours, people are very much at the core of siemens
when applying to siemens it is always important to read up on the job role as well as the business to give yourself background knowledge about the business, if you can demonstrate that you are willing to learn about the business it will go along way, the same can be said about the job role if you are willing to learn it will go a long way.
