I am part of the Wealth PMO team, we ensure that all projects are running smoothly, this means delivering to their correct budget and timeline.
I have developed much better communication skills, speaking out in meetings has developed this majorly. My organisation and tech skills have also improved a huge amount since joining the PMO team. It has taught me a lot about the working environment also.
The programme is set up well for me to work aswell as completing my assignments. I am given 8 hours of work time to complete my BPP assignments which is great. Overall, I wouldn't say I love coming into the programme every day but it has been very beneficial.
My programme has been very well structured. I am given 8 hours to carryout my assignments and I have also been given opportunities to help out with other tasks outside the role I am based in. Like speaking to schools and colleges etc.
Great support. I have been taught many tasks that I must complete and also received support regarding medical treatment.
Support when it is necessary, when I have questions they are there to answer them. Also, I do get support with monthly phone calls with my coach.
Not a lot, the qualification is very strongly based on reflecting on tasks I have already completed in the role rather than maybe teaching me about tasks I may face in the future.
None at work.
Yes
It is a great organisation to be a part of, with the flexible working aspect and the great support that the organisation provides. I feel it is a great place to work.
Throw yourself into it, even if you are unsure of what you may be entering into. You will learn so much about yourself and the working world.
