At the moment my daily tasks involve working on the production of work instructions and also analyzing data and producing graphs to allow us to check the quality of the products and find areas we are having problems in.
The main skills I have learnt have been around Excel and creating the correct tables and graphs that will allow us to effectively analyze the data. Also I have built up many Maths and CAD skills through university that will be able to help me in future projects I partake in with Schneider.
I really enjoy my program as it has allowed me to build new skills I would have never learnt. Also another reason I have enjoyed my apprenticeship so far because everyone at Schneider are always able to help with any problems you come across. This help will allows me to learn from others and develop useful skills that will come in handy in my future.
My program is well structured as I have specific days I am at university then I am able to complete university work at specific times. Also I am working with different people across the quality department to learn new skills this will help with my development as it will allow me to learn more about the business.
I am constantly able to speak to my manager about any problems I am coming across. We are then able to talk and find ways for me to receive help from others within the company to resolve these problems and allow me to develop skills to help in future.
I am able to receive lots of support from my training provider as there are lots of people I am able to talk to allow me to gain help within my apprenticeship. There are also many support areas that we have been given to allow us to help with our academic areas
My qualification has allowed me to gain the math's and engineering skills that I will be able to use in future in my apprenticeship. This better understanding of engineering has allowed me to learn more about the products and will allow me to engineer problems that affect quality in the future.
As of now I have not partook in any extra-curricular activities, however I am aware of things that are going on in the company that I could join as and when I want to.
